The Revivalists were one of many artists to pay tribute to the late Chuck Berry over the weekend following the news of his passing at the age of 90.

Performing at Concord Music Hall in Chicago, the New Orleans group broke into one of Berry’s best-known tunes later in their set, “Johnny B. Goode,” led by David Shaw on guitar. This marked the first known live performance of the song by The Revivalists.

Later on in the show, the group would also further explore their rock roots with a rendition of AC/DC’s “It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock n Roll).”
