String Cheese Incident to Play Telluride Bluegrass

The String Cheese Incident will return to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival for the first time in a decade for an old school “sunset set” on Friday, June 21. It will be the band’s sixth appearance at the festival, which will be celebrating its 40th anniversary this summer. The bad news for SCI fans is that Telluride Bluegrass is already sold out, but the good news is that the band will announce its full summer tour schedule on Monday, March 4. As previously reported, the only other dates that SCI has confirmed for this summer are its annual appearances at the Electric Forest Festival in Rothbury, MI.

I do not approve. They do not play bluegrass. They are not good.

danny u obviously know nothing about the telluride “bluegrass” festival. Far from strictly bluegrass, if u are looking for that you should check out Rockygrass. And i also disagree with the “they are not good” comment for obvious reasons.

OMG, Danny doesn’t approve, cancel the date! They’ve only done the fest probably 10 times before
