After breaking up in 2000, the members of Smashing Pumpkins, in particular frontman Billy Corgan, have had some choice words against a possible band reunion, including Corgan at one point calling bassist D’arcy Wretzky a “piece of shit,” but now the band might be setting up for a reunion tour, as Consequence of Sound reports, citing “an industry source.”

Corgan is reportedly shopping a Pumpkins reunion tour for next year, a revelation that comes after several small steps of reconciliation between the members, including Corgan and guitarist James Iha reuniting onstage earlier this year. “We’re making plans,” Corgan says in a recent Facebook video. “I can’t give that away, but it’s going to be interesting.”

Corgan also shared some hints of a new band in the video, which can be viewed above. Corgan says that the band will feature members of the current touring version of Smashing Pumpkins and guitarist Jeff Schroeder, with whom Corgan reformed the band in 2005 along with drummer Jimmy Chamberlin.
